JOB TITLE: Director of Patient Services
REPORTS TO: VP, Client Services and Clinical Excellence
FLSA STATUS: Exempt
JOB OVERVIEW: The Director of Patient Services is a qualified professional who is responsible
for the oversight, development, management and evaluation of the Patient Services
Managers and their teams. This position works with their team and other
Administrative teams and managers to ensure the highest quality patient
care and to ensure the highest quality employee experience. The Patient Services
Director is responsible for monitoring and providing consistent processes for each
Patient Services role.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Provides oversight and direction for all processes for the Patient Services teams
- Responsible for the day to day leadership and management of the Patient Services teams
- Responsible for monitoring overall processes of the Patient Services team
- Collaborates with Division Directors to develop and improve processes/procedures that benefit clinical staff and patients
- Monitors the compliance and productivity of their team
- Completes any administrative tasks for direct reports (payroll, expense tracking, PTO, etc.)
- Assists with interviews and provides hiring recommendations for team
- Works with team members to develop an ongoing professional development plan
- Responsible for training of new team members
- Develops tactical plans based on team needs and company strategies
- Regularly holds meetings with their team members to monitor efficiency and compliance
- Acts as a liaison between VP and Patient Services Managers and support staff
- Be flexible and able to perform a wide variety of administrative support functions in support of their team
- Performs all duties in compliance with agency policies and procedures
- Any other essential duties, as required
