POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE LEVEL:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Professional certifications such as ITIL, Microsoft Azure Administrator, CISSP, or PMP are highly desirable.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, COMPETENCIES, AND ABILITIES:
- 7+ years of progressive IT experience with at least 3–5 years in a leadership or management role.
- Proven experience overseeing enterprise infrastructure, networking, and cloud environments (Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Windows Server).
- Strong background in IT operations within industrial, energy, or similarly complex environments preferred.
- Expertise in network administration, systems architecture, cloud solutions, and endpoint management.
- Proficiency with IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL) and cybersecurity best practices.
- Hands-on experience in vendor management, contract negotiations, and IT procurement.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance standards (e.g., SOX, NIST, GDPR, or industry-specific security requirements).
- Strong people management skills with the ability to mentor and develop technical teams.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of translating technical issues into business terms.
- Demonstrated ability to partner with executives and cross-functional leaders to align IT strategy with business goals.
- Proven ability to manage IT budgets, forecast expenditures, and optimize cost efficiencies.
- Availability for on-call support and flexibility to manage IT issues outside standard business hours.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to anticipate risks and implement effective solutions.

Frequently required to walk, sit, climb, bend, reach and squat/kneel. The Sr. Manager of IT Operations works primarily indoors and will be sitting prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities. The Sr. Manager of IT Operations may be required to lift heavy objects; therefore, The Sr. Manager of IT Operations must be able to lift 25lbs.
