- Minimum of 3 years experience and/or education relating to corrections, Community Based Residential Facilities (CBRF), Criminal Justice, Human Services, Psychology, Sociology, Security, Social Service, Mental Health, Behavioral Health and Law Enforcement.
- Demonstrated understanding and sensitivity to interactions with individuals of diverse backgrounds.
- Experience enforcing rules, policies and procedures.
- Ability to interact with staff, clients, and agents in an effective manner while maintaining professional boundaries.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
- Strong decision making abilities and able to work independently and assertive.
- Knowledge of nutrition and sanitation.
- Trained in administering NARCAN, training in Mental Health first aid, fire safety, standard precautions, Motivational Interviewing, Trauma Informed Care, and other Community Based Residential Facility trainings maintaining 15 ongoing hours per calendar year.
- Valid drivers license and good driving record.
