Education & Work Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice, Human Services or related field required.
- One year of experience facilitating groups with correctional or human services clients
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- 2 years working with correctional clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Correctional case management preferred.
- Ability to perform duties and make decisions with limited supervision.
- Ability to make excellent judgement calls in routine and emergency situations.
- Must be detail oriented, accurate and thorough
- Excellent interpersonal skills both verbal and written.
- Ability to interact with employees, clients, and agents in an effective manner while maintaining professional boundaries.
- Ability to maintain the upmost confidentiality of all client and agency information.
- Proficient in Microsoft office suite, email and internet.
