Position Summary:
CellNetix Pathology & Laboratories has a new opening for an AP/CP Surgical Pathologist in Spokane, WA.
Training and/or expertise in General Surgical, Breast & Gynecologic Pathology preferred. The ideal candidate will have excellent general anatomic and clinical pathology skills along with medical directorship experience and an ability to practice independently. New graduates with strong subspecialty fellowship training are encouraged to apply while preference will be given to those with several years general sign-out experience and/or clinical lab medical directorship experience. AP/CP board certification/eligibility is required. The ideal candidate will have excellent general anatomic and clinical pathology skills. We are excited to add a new team member to our outstanding group of pathologists in this special community.
Key Responsibilities

Provide accurate and timely diagnostic services in general surgical pathology.

Apply subspecialty expertise. High target subspecialties: Genitourinary, Breast, Gynecologic, Hematopathology, or Dermatopathology but not required.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support patient-centered care.

Locations
As our group serves a huge percentage of providers in Washington and also Alaska, providing opportunities at numerous locations. This position is for the sought-after Eastern Washington location, Spokane, Washington. Spokane is an Eastern Washington city that lives up to its motto: “Near Nature, Near Perfect”, offering easy access to numerous lakes, ski resorts and mountains. Spokane is the second largest city in Washington state, offering a small-town atmosphere with the advantage of big-city amenities. We have a very strong and experienced team of pathologists in Spokane making it an ideal location for someone leaving fellowship or someone ready to enjoy a collegiate group.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Requirements:

Board certification or eligibility in Anatomic Pathology/Clinical Pathology (AP/CP).

Fellowship training in a subspecialty (preferred).

Eligibility for medical licensure in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, and Alaska.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with high-level decision-makers.

Customer-focused mindset with an understanding of laboratory operations.

Adaptability and leadership in driving change.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged sitting and computer use

Extended periods of diagnostic work using a microscope, requiring fine motor skills and visual acuity.

Ability to stand for up to 2 hours during autopsies.
