Required Qualifications:
- Southern Nazarene University is an expression of the Church of the Nazarene. - Active, unencumbered RN license in Oklahoma
- Minimum of a graduate degree in nursing, preferably an earned doctorate (PhD, EdD, or DNP) from a regionally accredited institution
- Minimum of 2 years full-time equivalent practice as a Registered Nurse in a clinical setting
- At least 1 year teaching experience as a full-time nursing faculty member in a nursing education program leading to registered nurse licensure
- Capacity for learning to work with SON-related technology
- Commitment to high-quality instruction in a student-centered environment with interest in active and collaborative learning
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous administrative experience.
- Experience with curriculum design, program implementation, and educational best practices
Supervision Received:
Receives supervision and work assignments from the VPAA of the College of Undergraduate Studies.
Supervision Exercised:
Supervises the School of Nursing faculty and staff. May be responsible for the coordination of work assignments for student employees.
