Required Qualifications:
- Southern Nazarene University is an expression of the Church of the Nazarene. - Master's degree in Sociology OR a Master’s degree in another field with 18 credit hours in graduate-level courses in Sociology
- Possess strong verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Doctorate in Sociology or related field.
- Experience in face-to-face classroom instruction at the undergraduate level
- Experience using discovery learning or inquiry-based learning for instruction
- Experience using a computer algebra system for instruction and assessment
Supervision Received:
Receives supervision and course assignments from the Social and Behavioral Sciences chair, although other staff members in the unit may provide work direction.
Supervision Exercised:
No supervision of others necessary for this position.
