At EP Wealth Advisors, we put people first—our clients, our team, and our partners. We’re looking for a seasoned, strategic leader to serve as our Head of Strategic Partnerships, a critical role responsible for accelerating growth through custodial relationships, COIs, and advisor performance. If you thrive at the intersection of strategy, relationship-building, and execution—and are motivated by a collaborative, high-integrity culture—we want to meet you.

What You’ll Do:

Drive Strategic Growth

  • Design and execute EP’s referral strategy with clear priorities, scalable processes, and defined performance targets.
  • Identify and unlock new business opportunities across referral sources, contributing directly to organic growth.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, market shifts, and the evolving needs of custodians, RIAs, and other strategic business partners.

Lead Custodial Partnerships

  • Serve as the primary relationship owner for key custodial partners (e.g., Schwab, Fidelity), ensuring alignment, accountability, and long-term collaboration.
  • Negotiate strategic agreements and manage partner lifecycles from initial contract through performance optimization.
  • Measure and refine referral programs to ensure sustainable asset growth and an exceptional client experience.

Empower Advisor Success

  • Partner with Division Leaders and Regional Directors to develop a high-performing team of advisors, guiding them to exceed growth targets through coaching, tools, and structured development programs.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to identify and onboard advisor talent aligned with EP’s values and performance expectations.
  • Create scalable advisor enablement strategies—from training to mentorship—that drive lasting impact.

Deliver Operational Excellence

  • Build the infrastructure and workflows that ensure leads are captured, tracked, and converted efficiently and effectively.
  • Establish KPIs, dashboards, and reporting systems that provide clear visibility into referral performance, ROI, and conversion rates.
  • Champion quality, compliance, and client-first standards across every referral and relationship touchpoint.

Represent EP and Lead with Integrity

  • Represent the firm at key industry conferences and events, embodying EP’s commitment to excellence and thought leadership.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Division Leaders, Regional Leaders, and Marketing to amplify growth strategies.
  • Maintain a pulse on the competitive landscape and contribute to firm-wide innovation initiatives.

What You’ll Bring:

  • 15+ years of experience in wealth management, business development, or strategic partnerships—preferably within or adjacent to the RIA and custodian ecosystems.
  • Track record of success building and scaling referral programs and/or partner channels in high-growth environments.
  • Demonstrated leadership in partnering to drive growth, developing advisor teams, and support cross-functional initiatives.
  • Strong relationship and negotiation skills; able to influence and build trust at all levels, internally and externally.
  • Experience with CRM, referral tracking systems, and performance reporting (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) and Series 65 preferred.

Why EP:
