Cleveland University-Kansas City’s College of Health Science is seeking Exercise Science Adjunct Faculty candidates to provide didactic and lab instruction within assigned coursework for the bachelor’s courses is a mix of face to face, online, and hybrid delivery format. Courses with labs include a focused on-campus component at our Overland Park campus. Instructors may also provide didactic and lab instruction in our master's of exercise physiology & sports performance program. Coursework in the master’s degree is delivered primarily online.
Our ideal candidate should possess at minimum a graduate degree in exercise science, exercise physiology, kinesiology, or related field at least one degree level above the level at which they teach. Candidates with a degree equivalent to the level at which they would teach may be considered if they have a minimum of three years of full-time, verifiable experience in the discipline and additional qualifications such as professional licensure or certification.
Our most immediate openings are individuals with a background in teaching motor learning and control, biomechanics, and Exercise and Sports Psychology, but we will consider other candidates for the Exercise Science program.
