Purpose:
We’re looking for a digital video media and pop culture geek. If you speak YouTube, dream TikTok and converse in Instagram, with a tendency to dabble in a mix of high impact short form and occasional more heavily produced promotional video marketing and photography, this role is for you.
The ideal candidate will be skilled at concepting and shooting high quality video content and photography using everything from specialized DSLR cameras to iPhones. Photo re-touching experience and editing experience in Premiere Pro is a must. You’ll be working with a team skilled in graphic design, content writing, and web development. You’ll be the primary creator of our organic social media content and the primary photographer and video/media content creator for our website, paid media, and non-traditional digital media platforms.

Responsibilities
- Stay on top of digital and social media trends.
- Produce and manage a variety of photography and video shoots of varying lengths for Instagram, TikTok, paid media, website, etc.
- Manage video and photo shoots (digital and social) on-location and offsite at other locations as-needed.
- Deliver concepts that are logistically and financially sound.
- Execute video editing and photo retouching.
- Lead video projects from pre-production to post-production, taking full ownership of assigned video projects from brief to final delivery.
- Present concepts, rationale, and final products to the MARCOM Director and other leadership stakeholders as required/needed.
- Manage and organize video and photography assets, including raw footage, photos, and edited files.
- Employ a creative streak that keeps brand in mind but does not confine itself to barriers within the “brand box.”
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of experience as a video producer/editor in a production company, business, or agency.
- Strong social media and digital media acumen.
- Strong portfolio showcasing the ability to create all different types of videos for a wide variety of marketing platforms, particularly digital and social media.
- Proficient with Adobe Premiere and After Effects or similar motion graphics software.
- Proven experience working on a variety of photography and videography projects, including short and long form (but mostly short-form) and motion graphics for paid and organic media. This is not a long form film production role. It is a short form marketing video role.
- Experience lighting for video and photography shoots.
- Ability to think and work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Superior time management skills.
- Ability to travel occasionally for shoots (mostly locally).
- Familiarity with major social and digital photo and video formats and platforms.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, marketing, communications, or related field
- Experience with motion graphic design
- Experience with Adobe Audition
