Position Summary:
The Mechanical Assembly Associate is responsible for the installation of the internal components of the hull. This includes the engine systems, electrical, plumbing, safety systems and the internal cabin unit. The Mechanical Assembly Associate will use of a variety of hand tools such as drills, drivers, wrenches, clippers, wire strippers, utility knife, grinder, and many others. There is also varying use of larger stationary tools such as a band saw, table saw, belt sander, etc. The Mechanical Assembly Associate serving in this role will assemble and install all components designed to function below the deck of the boat. We are looking for additional team members that will give good effort and be engaged in working continuously toward providing a better product for our customers.

Job Responsibilities:
- The Mechanical Assembly Associate must be able to work with minimal supervision, assemble boat units per specifications prescribed on the Tiara Yachts work instructions.
- The Mechanical Assembly Associate will install the engines from cradle to grave in the Yachts.
- Must have the ability to use basic hand tools and power tools with some degree of mechanical and electrical aptitude.
- Must be able to read schematics and build to drawing specifications.
- Communicates the current product, process or material constraints or issues to the team leader.
- Must be accustomed to physical tasks for long periods of time. This includes, but not limited to, standing, kneeling, lifting up to 40 lbs., bending, using your hands and working with various materials.
- Must have basic computer knowledge and basic math skills.
- When asked, assist with training team members to develop job knowledge, and improve performance.
- Maintain daily labor tracking records and participate in daily cleaning/5S routine.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by supervisor and/or management.Â
- On occasions, management will ask the Mechanical Assembly Associate to perform other related duties to maintain the integrity of the production goal.
