Qualifications

First National Bank of Oklahoma is an independently owned, strong, and growing bank seeking an experienced Assistant Teller Supervisor. As our Assistant Teller Supervisor, you will provide support in the administration/supervision of the teller area as delegated by the Teller Supervisor. Responsible for performing Teller duties: providing excellent customer service and promoting Bank products/services while processing transactions and paying out funds in accordance with Bank procedures, regulatory, and legal compliance requirements.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Performs Teller duties while professionally assisting customers with concerns and/or questions that may be mentioned during the transaction.
  • Coordinates the activities of the teller area by handling more complex customer issues, resolving non-routine issues, answering questions, helping with complex transactions, and explaining policies and procedures to customers.
  • Maintains a thorough working knowledge of the Teller computer application and provides technical assistance to Tellers.
  • Manages and maintains a proper supply of vault cash, verifying cash received, and inventory of all other negotiable instruments for use in the teller area.
  • Completes garnishment and bankruptcy forms for all branches.
  • Know procedures for and maintain compliance with banking regulations and reporting requirements (such as BSA, Reg CC, Privacy, CTRs, etc).

 

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent. 
  • Minimum three years Teller experience.
  • Familiar with Branch Audits, Security, and ATM balancing.
  • Ability to provide leadership oversight to other Tellers.
  • Experience working within compliance standards, following standard operating procedures.
  • Experience working in a client-facing position providing excellent customer service support.
