PURPOSE OF POSITION
To maintain the integrity and maintenance of the Casino, its’ utilities, the waste water treatment plant and to provide first response to any mechanical failures that may occur on property. Performs job duties in compliance with applicable laws, rules, regulations, and company and departmental policies.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide skilled services for the operation, servicing, repair and preventative maintenance of one or more major facility systems or equipment including but not limited to HVACR, refrigeration, electrical, electro-mechanical and mechanical gaming equipment, plumbing, water system, waste treatment, carpentry, flooring, upholstery, and restaurant/bar appliances.

Responsible for maintaining working knowledge of the casino floor plans, utility plans, systems, and all equipment in designated areas of responsibility.

Provide accurate and timely documentation and reporting of department activities on a daily status. Maintain records of equipment servicing and repairs, report daily activities and any maintenance, repair or alterations to the facilities.

Maintain an awareness of company and departmental policies, procedures and rules and apply them as required.

Maintain the cleanliness and organization of assigned areas.

Performs duties in a manner that promotes a safe and secure environment.

Coordinates with members of management to ensure the best utilization of outside vendor/contractor services where appropriate.

May recommend and oversee the purchase of appropriate and necessary items and materials to complete projects assigned.

Completes projects in close coordination and communication with operating departments to promote efficiency and minimal interruption to business.

Such other job related duties as may be assigned by instruction from management.
