TMC Staffing is seeking career minded individuals to train as a Light Equipement Operator. Great contract to hire opportunity in the manufacturing of stock and custom labels.
12 hour shifts with rotating days, every other weekend
Day Shift: 7:00 am - 7:00 pm
Night Shift 7:00 pm - 7:00 am
Job Duties:
- Learn and perform the responsibilities of the Rewinding and Die Cutter Operator.
- Sets up and adjusts machine and equipment for production runs.
- Requires familiarity with routine operating procedures of equipment which can be set up and operated following instructions and the skill to operate the equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret written work instructions of machine operations required to complete the work and maintain dimensional accuracy in accordance with instructions provided.
- Mathematical skills to include addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, percentage, and units of measurement.
- Cleans, lubricates and maintains assigned machine to ensure its optimum operation.
- Troubleshoots and maintains equipment to keep it in running condition, requests maintenance as required
