- At least ten years of marketing and / or e-commerce experience, preferably in the arts with a demonstrated ability to manage a team and drive results
- Experience with budget management and analysis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to understand, interpret, and apply visual brand identities across digital and print mediums. Must be able to maintain brand consistency while adapting designs to various formats, audiences, and channels
- Experience managing a brand and providing creative direction to teams
- Strong interpersonal skills; ability to manage expectations from a variety of internal stakeholders, and to secure the trust of staff across the institution
- Strong leadership skills, the ability to manage and motivate teams, to multitask, and to oversee and execute complex projects
- Interest in BAM programming
- Demonstrated ability to analyze sales and research data and mine for key insights
- Hands-on experience and facility with database and CRM systems and email service providers. Experience with Tessitura (or similar) cultural/arts-based ticketing/CRM/fundraising system and/or email marketing platforms like Prospect2, a plus
- Solid project management experience and ability to create or trouble-shoot processes to make them more efficient and effective; hands-on experience with project management software—Asana and/or Workfront experience a plus.

Compensation: The salary for this position is $165,000 per year. This position is full-time, exempt, and eligible for benefits. BAM provides a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement plan opportunities including both 401(k) and pension plans, as well as BAM-related benefits including access to BAM's fantastic programming.
