Job Summary:
We're looking for a detail-oriented full time Purchasing Assistant to support our Buying and Procurement team in Wickenburg, AZ. In this role, you’ll help manage purchase orders, monitor inventory levels, coordinate with suppliers, and provide vital administrative support to ensure our production schedule stays on track. Key Responsibilities:

Use Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) to identify purchasing needs.

Issue, update, and manage purchase orders.

Track and confirm order acknowledgements, delivery dates, and lead times.

Communicate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery and resolve issues.

Maintain proper inventory levels to support production.

Process return material authorizations (RMAs) for returned items.

Keep data accurate and up to date in procurement systems.

Assist in onboarding new suppliers.

Generate reports such as on-time delivery, shortages, cost, and inventory turns.

Support continuous improvement initiatives within the department.

Handle general office tasks: phones, scheduling, document prep, filing, etc.

Perform other duties as assigned.
