Pay ranges from $21 - $30 per hour depending on multiple factors, including specific location, individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. 

In addition to the competitive pay, this role offers part-time benefits, including:   

• 401K plus 4% employer contribution after first year of employment. 
• Paid initial training and ongoing training.

Responsibilities  

Our tutors work in small groups with students at a 3 student to one teacher ratio. C2 Education offers tutors strong administrative and leadership support so they can focus solely on what matters: tutoring students. Our Center Directors and District Managers for each center take care of the scheduling and communication with parents.  

• Tutor students in small groups (3 students max). 
• Tailor C2 Education’s proprietary curriculum on SAT, ACT, AP, and school subjects to students’ needs. 
• Track and analyze student progress. 
• Perform team-based activities as needed. 

Required Qualifications  

• Bachelor’s Degree (B.A./B.S.).  
• Ability to tutor in-person. 
• Score at the 95th percentile on our diagnostic SAT, AP, or ACT test. 
• Excited about working with families and students to achieve their goals. 
• Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Strong passion for education.  

Preferred Qualifications 

• AP-level knowledge in at least one or more subjects.  
• Previous teaching experience highly desired. No teacher certification or licensure necessary.
