Cart and Range Attendant- Santee National Golf Club

Santee National Golf Club, located in Santee, South Carolina, and managed by Bobby Jones Links, is hiring for a Cart and Range Attendant. The Santee National Golf Club golf course features Bermuda fairways and Champion Bermuda greens. The club has been rated 4 stars by Golf Digest’s Places to Play. Rolling hills and mossy oaks combine to offer highland terrain with Lowcountry charm. Five lakes bring water into play on eight holes, and strategically placed bunkers will have you thinking about each shot placement. Santee National is a popular destination golf course for golfers traveling along I-95 traveling north or south.

Responsibilities of the Cart and Range Attendant at Santee National Golf Club include:

• Completing daily opening or closing procedures.
• Hand picking certain areas of the short game area.
• Touring the cart staging area, bag drop, and driving range several times an hour to ensure it is operating accordingly.
• Keeping the golf carts organized and clean with pencils, scorecards, tees, etc.
• Checks golf carts for damage and washes carts on a daily basis.
• Responsible for daily operations of range ball recovery utilizing both mechanical and hand machinery and equipment.
• Assisting the Head Golf Professional with the cart staging during all tournament operations

• Ability to operate machinery.
• Knowledge and execution of safe driving principles and practices.
• Evaluation of customer satisfaction and responsiveness.

• Walk and stand for long periods of time, sit, bend, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear, stoop, kneel, crouch, close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
• Lift up to 50 lbs. regularly; up to 75 lbs. occasionally and to lift overhead and push/pull, move heavy objects.
• The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will frequently:
• Be exposed to outside weather conditions including temperatures over 90 and below 40 degrees.
• Work near: moving mechanical parts, fumes, toxic or caustic chemicals.
