Job Responsibilities
- Solid understanding of IT systems, networking, and software applications, along with exceptional problem-solving and communication skills
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network-related issues at lodging, retail, and food & beverage locations.
- Respond to service requests promptly, both in person and remotely, to minimize downtime and disruptions.
- Perform onsite installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT equipment, including computers, peripherals, POS systems, and network devices.
- Collaborate with remote teams and individuals to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively.
- Adhere to Reunion Resort and Golf Club company procedures and policies
- Assist with the setup, configuration, and maintenance of network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and wireless access points.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and ensure seamless communication between onsite and remote locations.
- Work closely with network administrators to implement and enforce network security measures.
- Provide support for business software applications, including Point of Sale (POS) systems, property management systems, and other industry-specific software.
- Assist end-users with software installations, updates, and configurations.
- Conduct training sessions and create user documentation to help employees understand and effectively utilize software applications.
- Manage hardware inventory, including computers, tablets, printers, scanners, and other peripheral devices.
- Coordinate repairs and warranty services for faulty or damaged hardware.
- Assist with hardware procurement, ensuring compliance with organizational standards and budgetary guidelines
- Maintain accurate records of all support requests, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions.
- Create and update technical documentation, user guides, and standard operating procedures.
- Prepare regular reports on support activities, including key metrics and trends.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends relevant to lodging, retail, and food & beverage sectors.
- Evaluate new hardware and software solutions, providing recommendations to improve operational efficiency and user experience.
- Collaborate with IT teams to plan and implement technology upgrades and projects.
