Hardware Sales Inc is a family owned company operating since 1962 and headquartered in Bellingham, WA. As part of the eCommerce division, our Whiteland, IN facility is responsible for shipping logistics to the Eastern United States. You will be involved with high volume shipping, stocking, receiving products, inventory management, driving a variety of forklifts, and working on numerous improvement projects.
You are expected to be comfortable with computers, able to type quickly, and able to navigate most programs with ease. You will be on your feet all day as well as lifting, pushing, and pulling products and/or pallets.
Hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Shipping:
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for direct-to-consumer shipping and FBA.
- Ensure all packages are labeled correctly and meet shipping guidelines.
- Coordinate with shipping carriers for timely pickups and deliveries.
- Inventory Management:
- Conduct regular inventory counts and audits to maintain accurate records.
- Update inventory management systems with incoming and outgoing stock.
- Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or discrepancies to the supervisor.
- Receiving:
- Inspect and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing lists.
- Unload and unpack shipments, ensuring items are stored appropriately.
- Document any discrepancies or damages and report them to the appropriate department.
- General Warehouse Duties:
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed, such as restocking shelves and assembling products.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and warehouse procedures.
