Position Summary
The purpose of the Communications Internship is to provide support to the Communications team while exposing the intern to the workings of a Marketing & Communications office. The internship will be primarily focused on writing for PR, internal constituents, website platforms, and social media.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (include, but are not limited to)

  • Drafting articles for PR placement
  • Drafting articles for internal publications
  • Periodically managing school’s social media accounts
  • Photography/photo editing
  • Photograph archive management, collection, and organization
  • Website review/content downloading and organization
  • Office projects as requested
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications

Qualifications (minimum requirements)

  • High School diploma (1+ years college experience preferred)
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Excellent editing/proofing skills
  • Mastery of social media platform use, including Instagram and Facebook
