What You’ll Do

  • Conduct initial and ongoing nursing assessments for hospice patients
  • Manage pain and symptoms to improve quality of life
  • Educate and support families and caregivers throughout the care process
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary hospice team and primary care physicians
  • Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
  • Travel to patient homes across your designated area within Macomb County

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For

  • Active, unrestricted RN license in the state of Michigan
  • At least 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in hospice or palliative care
  • Strong clinical skills in symptom management, IV therapy, and wound care
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
  • Compassionate, dependable, and professional demeanor
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) and documentation standards
