What will you bring to the table?
Education: Master’s degree in a human services field (QMHP) required. At least one year experience working with individuals with mental illness. Knowledge of the DSM V-TR or most current edition & Rule 132. Bilingual-Spanish preferred
Experience: At least 1 year of experience in behavioral health preferred
Physical: Position requires ability to communicate in-person, telephone and in group settings. Requires frequent standing; walking, navigation of stairs on a regular basis, Ability to provide services in clients’ homes and in the community. Ability to drive and work overnights is requiredÂ
Equipment:Â Position operates in a professional office environment and off-site in various community settings. Role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, and filing cabinetsÂ
Additional Requirements: Â
- Â Flexibility to work evening/overnight/weekend/rotating holidaysÂ
- Ability to work rotating on-call shifts.Â
- Cover non-scheduled shifts as neededÂ
- Reliable means of transportation to and from workÂ
- Maintain automobile liability insurance as defined by AID’s personnel policiesÂ
- Maintain valid Illinois driver’s licenseÂ
- Drive self and clients in an agency or personal vehicle.Â
- Ability to work with diverse populations, demonstrating cultural competency and community awarenessÂ
- May be required to work multiple locationsÂ
- Complete Training as required within 30 days of hire including: First Aid, CPR, Non-violent Crisis Intervention Training, CEU’s, and other relevant training sessions assigned by manager.Â
