Upper School Mathematics
Fort Worth Country Day is seeking enthusiastic, student-centered educators who love teaching mathematics and are eager to join a vibrant Upper School community. Our ideal candidates build strong relationships with students and design engaging, collaborative lessons that invite learners to construct knowledge together. Drawing inspiration from evidence-based teaching practices and active learning strategies, they foster a classroom where curiosity and play deepen understanding. We value educators who bring a balanced pedagogical toolkit grounded in research-supported methods while remaining open to exploring new approaches, including thoughtful experimentation with emerging technologies like AI. Beyond the classroom, we seek educators who look forward to participating in the broader life of the school in ways that are sustainable and support a healthy work-life balance. Our teachers delight in the energy, humor, and authenticity of teenagers, bring optimism and curiosity to their work, and thrive in a collegial community of adults who learn from and with one another.
