Art Instructor

The Evelyn Rubenstein JCC seeks passionate Art Instructors to lead engaging classes for children, teens, and adults. Instructors bring expertise in their discipline and create a welcoming space where students explore, experiment, and express themselves through art.

Visual Arts Program Responsibilities

1. Develop age-appropriate curriculum and lesson plans
2. Adapt projects to student needs and skill levels
3. Maintain a safe, organized, and positive classroom environment
4. Demonstrate techniques and provide constructive feedback
5. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff
6. Support exhibitions and departmental programs as needed

Background in Fine Arts, Art Education, or equivalent experience

Previous teaching experience preferred

Strong skills in one or more art media

Excellent communication and organizational abilities

Flexible, collaborative, and enthusiastic about the arts
