The Special Events Coordinator is responsible for planning and executing special events that further the J’s mission. The J’s mission is to develop and strengthen Jewish identity, foster Jewish values and enrich the Jewish community and the greater community. The coordinator will support planning and execution for the Children’s Scholarship Ball, the J’s marquee annual fundraiser and Golf outing. The Ball will take place on February 28, 2026, and raise critical funds for early childhood education and summer day camp. This is a part-time role for approximately 15-20 hours per week, and is expected to be seasonal, with work from September through May, and little or no work in June through August. Hours per week vary depending on program needs and are expected to increase to approximately 30-40 hours per week in January – April 2026. The Special Events Coordinator will be an essential part of the J’s development department. This is a great opportunity for a self-motivated events professional with a track record of success who wants to advance the J’s mission. Come join our team to be a part of something special!
