The marketing coordinator will support the marketing and communications team with copy and content development, email marketing, website management and social media marketing. This role is ideal for a creative communicator who is highly organized, a strong writer and fluent in current digital trends and platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and execution of marketing and communications campaigns across digital and traditional channels.
- Create compelling copy following AP style and brand voice for communications efforts including but not limited to email campaigns, social media, direct mail, print pieces, advertisements, etc.
- Support digital marketing specialist in content creation and execution for social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn) including calendaring and engagement.
- Capture photo and video content for social media marketing.
- Design and edit visuals (both graphic and video) using Canva.
- Build and manage email campaigns using Emma, including layout, copywriting and distribution.
- Assist with managing and organizing email and mailing lists, including list segmentation, maintenance and ensuring accurate audience targeting for campaigns.
- Monitor and report on campaign performance across social and email channels.
- Maintain familiarity with digital advertising platforms including Google Ads and social media advertising tools.
- Support text messaging campaigns as needed using Salesforce/Mogli.
- Assist with digital screen content via Reach Media platform (media wall, fitness center screens, etc.) by creating and updating visuals.
- Help manage the website by assisting with regular content updates and collaborating on strategies to improve user experience and optimize site functionality.
- Collaborate across departments to gather content and ensure consistent messaging and branding.
- Draft press releases and coordinate with media for story and advertising placements.
- Accompany staff as needed to media opportunities.
