Job DescriptionÂ
The skilled pizza maker will be responsible for preparing and cooking pizzas according to the recipes and customer preferences. This position works in a fast-paced kitchen environment and ensure the quality, consistency, and presentation of every pizza that leaves the kitchen.Â
Essential FunctionsÂ

- Prepare and cook pizzas to the highest standards, following established recipes and customer preferences. Â
- Stretch and shape dough, ensuring the perfect crust thickness and consistency. Â
- Add and arrange toppings, sauces, and cheeses according to customer orders. Â
- Operate pizza ovens and cooking equipment safely and efficiently. Â
- Ensure all pizzas are cooked to the proper temperature and delivered in a timely manner. Â
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations and equipment. Â
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering ingredients when needed. Â
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe and clean work environment. Â
- Work collaboratively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team to provide excellent customer service. Â
- Assist with prep work for pizza dough, sauces, and other ingredients as required. Â
- Handle customer special requests or dietary needs as needed.Â
CompetencyÂ
- Previous experience in a pizza-making or kitchen role is preferred but not required. Â
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of quality. Â
- Strong attention to detail, especially in food presentation. Â
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Â
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Â
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy trays or boxes when necessary. Â
- Basic knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation practiceÂ
Supervisory ResponsibilityÂ
This position has no supervisory responsibility.Â
Work EnvironmentÂ
This position operates in an office/hotel setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers. Â
