The Role 

This is a full time and permanent opportunity to join our growing team in Marchington. Working closely with the warehouse team, this role plays a key role  supporting warehouse operations through damage reporting, purchasing, and administrative coordination, ensuring smooth processes and effective communication across teams.

 

Damage procedure:

  • Work closely with the Warehouse Goods In team to ensure product assessment forms are completed on receipt of all equipment
  • Monitor assessment forms and identity instances of damages
  • Obtain any missing information from the Transport and Project Management teams to complete damage reporting 
  • Work with the Warehouse team to define and cost issue resolution
  • Raise service tickets to communicate required actions
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure actions are completed

 

Consumables and Parts purchasing:

  • Monitor use of parts inventory and place orders with suppliers to maintain required availability
  • Order consumables for Warehouse e.g.. packaging, waste skips, cleaning products
  • Benchmark supplier cost and service, and seek opportunities for improvements

 

Warehouse support:

  • Assist colleagues with administrative tasks
  • Processing of resource timesheets 
  • Support wider Warehouse team where required

 

 

Qualifications

Skills & Experience:

  • Demonstratable experience within an administrative role, ideally within a warehousing, manufacturing or logistics background
