QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must demonstrate the ability to manage data processes effectively and collaborate across departments with professionalism and attention to detail. Strong analytical, communication, and time-management skills are essential.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Educational Research, or a related field is required. Master’s degree preferred. Minimum of two years of experience in data analysis, management, or institutional research required.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Must be able to read, comprehend, and draft professional documentation and present technical information clearly in both individual and group settings.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Proficiency in descriptive and inferential statistics. Ability to apply mathematical concepts to data validation, analysis, and visualization.
REASONING ABILITY
Must be able to apply logical reasoning to solve data-related problems and synthesize information to support strategic decisions.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES
Proficiency with Excel, SQL, and data visualization software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). Ability to use standard office equipment and software. Experience in survey tools and data governance practices preferred.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The employee is regularly required to sit, use hands, and communicate. Occasionally must lift up to 25 pounds.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Primarily an office environment. May be occasionally exposed to dust or electrical components. Noise level is generally moderate.
