Position Overview:
Are you detail-oriented, organized, and fluent in Japanese? We are seeking a Camera Repair Parts Support Administrator to assist with parts purchasing, inventory control, and logistics activities. You will act as a key liaison between our clients and parts operations, ensuring seamless communication and efficient processes. Fluency in Japanese is essential as you will regularly interact with documentation and shipments from Japan.
What You'll Do:
- Enter new camera parts locations into a database for shipments received from Japan
- Determine order levels, manage parts returns, and recover parts when necessary
- Collaborate with external customers to resolve parts order and procurement issues
- Provide phone or online support to contractors and service centers
- Fulfill and ship parts orders to authorized service centers and consumers
- Organize and maintain physical inventory locations, including labeling
- Conduct monthly inventory checks and reconcile discrepancies
- Process incoming orders from technicians, contractors, dealers, and customers
- Receive and verify shipments, track parts in database, and manage discrepancies
- Report on parts consumption and repair activities
- Collect and sort parts for recycling purposes
