Summary Description:

This hands-on role will be a key leader on our in-house creative team, who will oversee the creative strategy and will guide the conceptualization and execution of visual marketing that contributes to the positioning and advancement of the Gorilla Brand.

What will your day look like?

  • Creative Leadership: Lead the creative direction of projects, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines, business goals, and audience needs. Inspire and partner with a team of internal and external designers, creative strategists and other creative professionals to achieve your vision.
  • Project Management: Oversee the creative process from ideation to final execution, ensuring all projects aligned with business goals, delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including (brand?) marketing and design, to ensure that creative initiatives are cohesive and effectively executed.
  • Cross-functional Interaction: Communicate and collaborate with internal/ external clients or stakeholders to understand their vision, objectives, and requirements. Ensure that creative solutions meet their expectations and business goals.
  • Innovation & Strategy: Stay on top of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to bring innovative ideas and creative strategies to the team.
  • Quality Control: Review and approve final creative deliverables, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Budget/Resource Management: Manage creative resources effectively, including budgets, timelines, and staffing. Coordinate with external vendors or freelancers as necessary.

Qualifications

What you bring to the table:

  • 8+ years of overall creative development experience in a digital marketing/ creative agency or in-house creative team at a CPG
  • 3 Years of project management experience, with a focus on creative direction
  • Thoughtful portfolio showcasing a range of creative and marketing case studies
  • Experience leveraging AI to supplement traditional content generation and production, including creative ideation
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex solutions clearly to all stakeholder groups
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions to optimize creative strategies
