The Data Specialist will lead the master data change and governance related processes for our New Product Development process. This position ensures data quality, data integrity and data management that will run the business with accurate and core business information and intelligence. Duties:

  • Data management and analysis within Oracle, centering on the Bill of Material, Item Data, and Change Management.
  • Develop deep understanding of systems and processes within Oracle, providing direction and training to colleagues within the day-to-day workspace.
  • Lead engineering data processes within working teams.
  • Troubleshoot System and setup issues, fixing root causes liaising with affected parties.
  • Manage Engineering Data from ‘Design to Line’, being responsible for data accuracy and timeliness of information within systems.
  • Display problem-solving capabilities, resolving technical issues within complex systems.
  • Show self-motivation with a hands-on, positive attitude.
  • Ability to cultivate and maintain positive work relationships with a cross functional team, including Engineering, Purchasing, Finance, Packaging and Manufacturing.
  • Drive change within the business, ensuring that high data standards result in leadership’s ability to steer vehicle programs.

 

 

 

 

Qualifications

Qualifications:

 

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s in engineering discipline, computer science or equivalent training
  • 5-7 years of experience in related data field
  • Microsoft Excel skills required
  • Oracle PLM experience or equivalent PLM/Structure software experience
