Summary Description
An inventory controls team member is responsible for counting and monitoring product inventories at our warehouse to ensure materials align with the declared lists and documents. An inventory controls team members responsibilities include conducting reviews and assessments, utilizing special software to evaluate product inventories, measuring, and weighing products, maintaining records, opening and re-packaging shipments, organizing products according to protocols, locating lost goods and reporting inconsistent or damaged goods. An inventory controls team member may also develop and recommend strategies to enhance inventory procedures, help aid current staff needs and participate in maintaining work area efficiencies.
What will your day look like?
- Perform counts as determined and provided from our WMS system as well as any additional counts that may be required.
- Assist other departments in material movements, count verification, etc. as requested.
- Ensure locations are 100% accurate regarding SKU, piece count, location etc. before leaving the area.
- Accurately report physical inventory to ensure smooth business operations.
- Monitors returns of goods from vendors and customers.
- Facilitates movements between Logistics and EMS to ensure proper disposal methods take place.
- Follows Aging inventory disposition with cross functional team.
- Safely operate a hand jack for materials movements and a task support vehicle (Joey).
- Follows FDA protocol for all lot controlled and age sensitive items.
