Who We Need

Sabel Systems is now accepting applications from Marine Corps logistics professionals interested in providing support services to the Marine Corps’ Logistics Plans and Operations Branch (LPO). The overall objective of this contract is to provide operational expertise, prepositioning strategies, and war reserve management support to the LPO branch, DC I&L, and DC PP&O. This support will span current and future operations, strategic mobility planning and GPN integration, with dedicated liaisons to MARFOR/MEFs, and also includes executive administrative support.  The primary objective of this support is to enhance the effectiveness of the Marine Corps’ prepositioning and war reserve capabilities.

Sabel Systems requires a Senior Military Executive Assistant / Administrative Support Subject Matter Expert to support DC I&L.  The contractor will provide executive administration support to the immediate office of the DC I&L.  Duties will require a broad and extensive knowledge of management programs principles, missions and functions, administrative procedures, Marine Corps organizations and military/civilian protocol.  This support will provide the integration of staff actions to facilitate effective response priority taskings for the Department. All work will be performed at the Pentagon.  Services require occasional domestic and international travel.  This position requires a Secret clearance.
 

What You’ll Do

•    Provide executive support to the immediate office of a 3-Star General Officer, Tier 3 SES and the DC I&L principal staff personnel on administrative staff actions relating to the accomplishment, coordination and disposition of a variety of substantive staff actions and assignments;
•    Review and analyze incoming staff actions and decision correspondence;
•    Assist the DC I&L front office staff with high priority assignments, studies and projects assigned to the Department on a wide variety of sensitive and confidential matters. Typically, these assignments involve contacts and coordination to obtain necessary information or viewpoints, to resolve differing opinions, or to coordinate decisions of major importance;
•    Develop and maintain close association and sound working relationships with higher headquarters, Marine Corps Staff agencies, major commands, Congressional Liaison, as well as agencies outside of DoD, etc., to keep abreast of issues and concerns that may impact issues affecting the office of the DC;
•    Travel may be required (~10-20%); and
•    All other duties as assigned.

•    U.S. citizen;
•    Must maintain a Secret clearance;
•    Bachelor’s Degree; and
•    At least eight (8) years of experience performing functions laid out in the responsibilities.

Preferred Qualifications

•    Expertise and a working knowledge of Marine Corps’ functions of logistics at the Strategic, Operational and Tactical levels;
•    Proficiency in SharePoint administrative functions;
•    Proficiency in Microsoft Suite: Word, Excel, and Power Point;
•    Proficiency with the DoN Trackers system;
•    Proficiency with SIPR MCATS and Task Management Tool (TMT) Transition; and
•    Proficiency with AMHS.

Salary and Benefits

The range for this position is between $120,000 and $160,000. Actual salary will be negotiated with this position’s Hiring Manager and can vary depending on the following factors: Billable contract and labor category, experience, skills, education /certifications/ licenses & geographic location.
