Job Description:
F-15 QA Simulator Academic / Live Flight Instructors provide academic and simulator as well as live flight instruction at an assigned location or multiple to train Qatari Emiri Air Force (QEAF) personnel with follow-on assignments to their designated QEAF homebase. This position requires applicant to have a current Secret security clearance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- The instructor shall perform academic and training device as well as live flight events.
- The instructor shall manage training operations to include, but not limited to trainee and instructor scheduling, trainee and training progress management, standardization and evaluation functions, and weapons and tactics functions.
- The instructor shall conduct courses and flight events in line with the provided Course Syllabus
- Instructor is responsible for creating flight and simulator mission events based off the subject matter presented in the syllabus.
- Simulator missions require Instructor personnel to operate the Instructor Operator Station (IOS) and to fly the simulator during aircrew training missions.
- Flying missions require instructor personnel to conduct flight events prescribed in the flight syllabus.
- The instructor will review each trainee’s course training records for attendance and verify successful course completion.
- Generate status reports that shall provide visibility on student performance, attendance, student involvement, course progression/schedule at the end of each test and completion of course.
Security Responsibilities:
The instructor must have a current Secret security clearance.
The instructor shall take all measures necessary to prevent foreign intelligence collection and/or the unauthorized disclosure of information governed by the International Traffic in Arms Regulation (ITAR) and/or the Export Administration Regulation (EAR). The instructor shall adhere to the information and technology controls required by DoD 5200-1.
