*Teacher needs to be able to teach both college level math with an MA degree, and high school level math.

Position Purpose:
The high school Mathematics instructor works under the supervision of the Academic Dean and is responsible for meeting all scheduled classes and providing instruction in accordance with CECs academic philosophy, goals, and objectives.
Job Duties:
- Upholds CECs beliefs found on the CEC website.
- Develops and administers Mathematics education curriculum consistent with CECs academic philosophy, goals, and objectives.
- Develops lesson plans, instructional materials, and activities to enhance learning and to demonstrate the application of course work to everyday life.
- Conducts ongoing assessment of student learning and modifies instructional methods accordingly.
- Promotes a classroom environment that is safe and conducive to student and small group learning by ensuring student conduct conforms with CECs Student and Family Handbook and CEC policies.
- Ensures effective communication with students and parents.
- Organizes and maintains Infinite Campus (IC) for accurate and complete recordkeeping, grading, and reporting for all student activities, achievements, and daily attendance as required in CEC policies.
- Selects and requisitions appropriate textbooks; instructional aids, supplies, and equipment; and maintains inventory records.
- Collaborates with other CEC staff members and participates in staff meetings and professional development as requested by the Academic Dean.
- Continues to acquire professional knowledge and keeps informed of current developments in education.
- Other duties as assigned.
