What You'll Need
- A Bachelor’s Degree, one year experience working with children OR
- Associate's degree with a minimum of 2 years’ experience working with children preferred
- Availability flexible but must be able to work until at least 6 pm.
- Experience creating lesson plans and
- Ability to evaluate and report on student and staff participation
- Supervisory experience
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Excellent project management skills
- Ability to evaluate and report on program success
- Must keep an up-to-date DHS file with a current physical
- Ability to effectively use technology for programmatic needs
- Obtain and maintain all new hire certifications and trainings within 90 days of hire
Work Conditions and Physical Demands
The worker will be in both indoor and outdoor settings with varying weather conditions subject to some temperature fluctuations. Demands include (but are not limited to): Visual acuity, talking, hearing, lifting (up to 40lbs. independently, more than 50lbs. with assistance), walking, stooping, rising, kneeling, crouching, sitting or standing (for sustained periods of time), reaching, pushing, pulling, balancing, climbing, feeling, grasping and other repetitive motions of the hands, fingers and wrists.
