What You'll Need
- 30 credit hours in childhood education or human services plus one year’s experience with children, preferred
- Minimum 3 years of YMCA experience with youth programs, preferred
- Basic computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office products
- Knowledge of database software preferred
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
- Good judgment and ability to problem solve
- Ability to effectively use technology for programmatic needs
- Ability to relate well with staff and public
- Attend all required pre-camp and camp season trainings and meetings as scheduled
- Obtain and maintain all new hires certifications and trainings by first day of camp

Hear noises and distress signals in the aquatic environment, including in the water and anywhere around the zone of responsibility. Remain alert with no lapses of consciousness. See and observe all sections of an assigned zone or area of responsibility. Will be exposed to illness-causing bacteria and viruses.
