Position Overview
The Behavior Technician will deliver evidence-based behavioral therapy to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in clinic and home settings. Under the direct supervision of a BCBA, the BT will implement Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) interventions designed to improve communication, social skills, and adaptive behaviors.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct one-on-one ABA therapy to children aged 2 to 15 years
- Implement behavior intervention plans as designed by the supervising BCBA
- Participate in ongoing training to develop clinical competencies in behavior analysis
- Attend regular supervision and team meetings to review client progress and refine interventions
- Collect and maintain accurate data and clinical documentation for treatment sessions
- Adhere to ethical and professional guidelines set by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other professionals involved in treatment
- Maintain a structured schedule and demonstrate punctuality and reliability
