Job Summary
Supporting our Corporate and Business Law Practice Group, the Paralegal (based out of our Buffalo, NY office) will support our attorneys in providing comprehensive legal services to our diverse clients. You will work on a wide range of corporate matters, including business formation, mergers and acquisitions, UCC Searches, audit letters, support forming entities and contract management, and more.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare written reports, summaries, and drafts of legal documents.Â
- Assist with investigations, including gathering and summarizing information.
- Draft and review legal documents such as audit letters, contracts, pleadings, discovery requests, and responses.Â
- Ensure all documents comply with legal procedures and requirements.
- Assist in managing case files, including organizing case materials, maintaining client records, and tracking deadlines.Â
- Prepare and file court and other government agency documents and correspondence. Ensure all filings are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Communicate with clients to gather information, provide updates on case progress, and schedule meetings. Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all client interactions.
- Stay informed about changes in laws, regulations, and procedures to ensure compliance in all tasks and responsibilities.
- Additional responsibilities specific to your assigned practice group may be required.
