Description

About Highres Biosolutions

At HighRes Biosolutions, our mission is to automate and orchestrate every lab in the world. We build Cellario OS—the industry leading lab operating system that unifies instruments, data and people into one seamless digital ecosystem. By connecting diverse hardware, workflows and teams, we empower scientists, engineers and lab managers to focus on discovery and innovation, not on mundane tasks and manual coordination.

About the Role

We’re looking for a seasoned Lead Product Designer to shape the end-to-end experience of Cellario OS. You will own the digital user experience design strategy and partner with Product Management, Engineering, Service and Customer Success to deliver a cohesive, scalable digital-plus-service solution for labs across research, development and production.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and own an evidence-driven UX strategy for Cellario OS that balances business goals with deep customer insights

• Lead end-to-end user research—stakeholder interviews, contextual inquiry, surveys and usability tests—to validate and prioritize design decisions

• Rapidly prototype and iterate new features using AI-enabled tools, from sketches and wireframes through high-fidelity mockups in close partnership with engineering

• Design and optimize seamless, multi-channel journeys and service blueprints that unite digital interfaces, lab hardware, installation, training and ongoing support

• Establish scalable, quality-first design processes; run design sprints, co-design workshops and stakeholder reviews to align on scope, priorities and success metrics

• Leverage qualitative and quantitative data to measure impact, continuously refine the experience, and deliver a truly differentiated Cellario OS for our customers

Qualifications

What we're looking for

• Talent for translating and simplifying complicated user journeys into intuitive experiences

• Strong prototyping abilities with emphasis on clear visual communication

• High aptitude for shipping and learning extraordinarily quickly

• Excellent facilitation, storytelling and stakeholder-management abilities; comfortable presenting to scientists, engineers and executives.

• Proven track record: 7-8+ years of experience in product, UX and service design for complex SAAS or enterprise platforms

• A portfolio showcasing successful product work loved by users and produced in high-velocity teams

Nice to Haves

• Experience working on scientific or factory scale automation products

• Exposure to accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design
