Job Description: Revenue Operations Manager

Openforce is experiencing unprecedented growth, accelerated by the pandemic, as we empower independent contractors and gig workers to facilitate our clients’ success in the gig economy. It’s no secret the way people work and live have fundamentally shifted over the past few years. Openforce is well-positioned at the forefront of this change as we provide SaaS solutions and services for the burgeoning gig economy. Our goal is to be all things independent contractor management. And we are nearly there.  Here’s where you come in.

Job Purpose:

We're seeking a Revenue Operations Manager (RevOps Manager) to optimize and scale our revenue-generating processes across sales, marketing, and customer success. You'll be the strategic operator who ensures our go-to-market teams have the systems, insights, and processes they need to drive predictable revenue growth.

General Summary:

The Revenue Operations Manager (RevOps Manager) will serve as the backbone of our go-to-market engine. The RevOps Manager will connect the dots between sales, marketing, and customer success—building the systems, processes, and insights that turn strategy into predictable revenue growth.

This hands-on role is for someone who loves solving operational puzzles, whether that means untangling a messy CRM, building a dashboard that finally answers the question leadership has been asking, or designing a process that saves the sales team hours of manual work each week.

Job Duties:

  • Account management and sales alignment partnership – optimize expansion within existing customer base
  • Ensure marketing and sales stay aligned on campaign execution and outbound efforts
  • Build and maintain revenue forecasts by vertical for direct and channel sales, with weekly accountability checkpoints
  • Research and validate new vertical opportunities through market analysis and competitive intelligence
  • Develop tactical plans for new vertical entry
  • Identify and network with PE and insurance partners to support growth in core and emerging markets
  • Sales, marketing, client-focused, etc., projects as assigned

Qualifications

Key Competencies and Skills:

Communication: Translate complex data and operational insights into clear, compelling narratives for diverse audiences—from executives seeking high-level summaries to frontline teams needing tactical guidance. Listen actively across departments to understand needs, present recommendations with confidence, and document processes in ways that drive adoption and accountability.

CRM & Systems Expertise: Build and maintain scalable CRM architecture in Salesforce or HubSpot. Design workflows that eliminate manual data entry, enforce data hygiene, and ensure the system serves as a reliable single source of truth across teams.

Data Analysis & Visualization: Extract insights from complex datasets using SQL and advanced spreadsheet modeling. Create dashboards in Tableau or Looker that give leadership real-time visibility into pipeline health and revenue trends—and translate findings into actionable recommendations.

Forecasting & Financial Planning: Develop accurate revenue forecasts by vertical, channel, and territory. Model scenarios, partner with finance on revenue recognition, and collaborate with sales leadership on quota setting and resource allocation.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Align sales, marketing, account management, and finance around shared goals. Facilitate communication, resolve bottlenecks in the customer journey, and drive accountability through clear processes and regular coordination.

Strategic Market Development: Research and validate new vertical opportunities through competitive analysis and market intelligence. Build relationships with PE and insurance partners, and develop tactical plans for market entry.

Education and Other Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or related field or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years in revenue operations, sales operations, business operations, or other closely related field
  • Expert-level proficiency with CRM systems, HubSpot highly preferred
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in SQL, Excel/Google Sheets, and BI tools
