Assistant Manager, Faculty Development

The Manager, Academic Administration is primarily responsible for managing the coordination of the support systems for the academic programs within Nursing and General Education to ensure the grading administration within the programs meet the highest standards of academic integrity as defined by accreditation requirements and the Colleges mission statement.

  • Manages communication with faculty to ensure credentialing requirements are established within 30 days of new hire, and maintained throughout employment, based on accreditation and partner standards
  • Manages licensure tracking and updating to ensure an accurate reflection of faculty CVs and compliance with accreditation and regulation standards
  • Ensure the function understands the criteria for distinguishing at-risk learners and appropriate information is provided to relevant key stakeholders
  • Manages the auditing process for faculty compliance and licensure, attendance and grading, and provides reporting to relevant key stakeholders
  • Oversees all HESI violations and communicates outcomes to relevant key stakeholders
  • Communicates with all relevant stakeholders every grade change due to grievance overturns, incompletes, remediation, late work, and end of semester determinations
  • Participates in regularly scheduled meetings to support cross functional collaboration
  • Maintains and analyzes the reporting for the function to develop business processes and make recommendations to other leaders
  • Uncovers patterns of concerns and collaborates cross-functionally to implement solutions and train appropriate parties on expectations
  • Interviews potential collaborators for organizational and functional alignment
  • Develops, delivers, and refines onboarding on-going developmental trainings within the function
  • Participates in the successful implementation of other functional projects as they arise

  • Masters degree from an accredited institution of higher learning
  • At least five years of experience as a people leader
  • At least five years of experience in healthcare background involving medical terminology is required
  • Demonstrated experience developing processes and procedures based on trends analysis
  • Some experience with Canvas or another LMS is preferred
