ROLE SPECIFIC PURPOSE
The Processor, Financial Aid, prepares and processes learner Title IV Aid in accordance with federal, state and institutional regulations and guidelines for determining eligibility and awarding Title IV Funds using excellence and integrity under the general direction of the Director, Financial Aid, and in collaboration with the other financial positions. The Processor provides document review for accuracy, compliance and inclusiveness in preparation for the delivery and coordination of federal, state, and institutional Title IV FSA funds to learners accounts in a timely manner. The Processor provides support to Financial Aid by tracking ISIRs, collecting learners documents to clear verification, C codes, UEH and multiply conflicts of data. This role is responsible for repackaging Title IV funds and providing customer service to current learners and back end support for FA advisors and the Assistant Manager as needed. Additionally, the Processor, by checking data accuracy, contributes in preparing disbursements for electronic delivery of Title IV funds to the College. Processors may report to the Director, Financial Aid; the Manager, Financial Aid; or the Assistant Manager, Audit and Training, depending on duties assigned along with interacting closely with other financial aid personnel, as well as other functions within the College. The Processor participates in College-wide and departmental activities and meetings as scheduled.

Package, award, and disburse funds to students.
Assist in the review of students' financial aid applications.
Counsel students and parents about self-help financial aid programs, eligibility requirements, and application processes.
Plan and perform financial aid workshops to staff and students.
PERFORMANCE FACTORS
Reviews prospective learner documents to verify eligibility, inclusiveness, and accuracy ensuring all items necessary to draw Title IV funds have been accurately and completely retained;
Accurately submits necessary forms to request Title IV funds for new learners and for subsequent academic years;
Continuously strengthens processes and internal controls to ensure compliance with all state, federal, and accreditation regulations and standards;
Responsible for the accurate requisition of Title IV funds;
Reviews and resolves conflicting information in electronic files;
Reviews and resolves ISIRS that may require further research due to comment codes and/or conflicting information;
Completes the verification process which includes the review of verification documents, verifying data matches to the ISIR, ensuring no conflicting information, and accurately making all necessary ISIR corrections;
Ensures documents associated with ISIR rejections, C-codes, and conflicting information meet Title IV requirements to clear issues;
Ensures professional judgment documents support the learners and/ or parents special circumstances and determines when said professional judgment is ready to be escalated for review by the Director, Financial Aid or the Assistant Manager, Financial Aid;
Fluently works with COD, NSLDS, and CPS;
Assists with a variety of tasks spanning the entire financial aid function;
Provides support to the Director, Financial Aid in special projects and events;
Attends meetings and conferences as necessary to enhance existing knowledge of financial aid policies, practices, and procedures;
Participates in faculty and College committee activities as needed;
Represents the College at community and campus events, in meetings with other College personnel, and during accreditation processes;
Promotes the College by participating in community, state, and national events or meetings, and by developing partnerships with industry and secondary education institutions;
Interacts positively with co-collaborators;
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
