Job Summary

Join a People Team that’s building smarter systems, stronger processes, and a more connected workforce.

At Liberty Dental Plan, our People Team is reimagining how talent operations run—making every process more efficient, compliant, and human-centered. As a Workforce Compliance Specialist, you’ll oversee the systems and workflows that keep our contingent workforce and talent acquisition operations running seamlessly.

In this role, you’ll manage independent contractor compliance and workflow tracking, maintain workforce acquisition data integrity, and partner across the People Team—including HR Business Partners, Talent Management, and Total Rewards—as well as collaborate closely with business units across the organization. Together, you’ll ensure workforce processes are aligned, transparent, and compliant with company standards and labor regulations.

You’ll thrive here if you love optimizing processes, using data to improve how we work, and collaborating across teams to ensure every hire, contractor, and people process is handled with excellence and care.

What You'll Do...

Drive Workforce Compliance & Oversight

  • Track and monitor all temporary employees and independent contractors to ensure compliance with company policy and labor standards.

  • Partner with Procurement and Legal to review contractor agreements and mitigate misclassification risk through ABC contractor or control testing.

  • Maintain accurate, audit-ready contractor data and documentation.

Support Workforce Operations & Analytics

  • Audit and improve internal workflow boards to ensure data accuracy and transparency.

  • Use Monday.com to manage workforce requests, track completion timelines, and maintain visibility across People Services projects.

  • Deliver regular reports and compliance insights to leadership.

Collaborate Across Teams

  • Partner with People Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, and People Leaders to support workforce requests and contractor processes.

  • Work closely with Procurement, Finance, and Legal to ensure workforce processes align from start to finish.

  • Provide general support to People Services functions to keep cross-departmental operations running smoothly.

Promote Continuous Improvement

  • Identify and implement enhancements that increase efficiency and reduce compliance risk.

  • Stay informed on evolving labor laws and workforce classification standards across all states in which we operate.

  • Support internal audits and provide compliance reporting to leadership.

What You’ll Bring

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Experience: 3+ years in HR operations, workforce compliance, or contingent workforce management.

  • Preferred: Experience collaborating with Procurement or Legal on contractor agreements.

  • Technical: Proficiency in workflow/project management tools—Monday.com experience highly preferred.

  • Skills:

    • Strong knowledge of workforce classification and compliance best practices.

    • Excellent analytical and auditing abilities with keen attention to detail.

    • Clear and confident communication with strong follow-up and cross-functional collaboration.

    • Adaptability in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
