Job Summary: Responsible for the safe and timely transportation of HVAC equipment, components, and materials between manufacturing facilities, warehouses, and customer sites. Ensures compliance with DOT regulations and company safety standards while maintaining vehicle integrity and load security.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Operate Class A CDL semi-trucks to transport HVAC units and materials
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain accurate driver logs
- Load and unload HVAC equipment using forklifts or other machinery
- Secure cargo to prevent damage during transit
- Deliver products to job sites, distribution centers, or clients as scheduled
- Communicate with dispatch and warehouse teams regarding delivery status
- Assist with general yard or shop duties when not driving
- Maintain cleanliness and routine servicing of assigned vehicle

- Handling and Moving Objects -- Using hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, and moving materials, and manipulating things.
- Inspecting Equipment, Structures, or Material -- Inspecting equipment, structures, or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects.
- Communicating with Supervisors, Peers, or Subordinates -- Providing information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person.
