Project Manager I

Job Summary: Manage, plan, and coordinate activities of a project to ensure that the goals or objectives of the projects are accomplished within the allotted time and budget parameters.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Plans, directs, supervises, and controls the assigned projects, or sub-tasks.
• Manages project supervisors/leaders assigned to specific projects.
• Collaborates with project staff to outline the work plan and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority.
• Manages subcontractors and their workforce.
• Directs and coordinates activities of project personnel to ensure the project progresses on schedule and within budget.
• Reviews project status with the project team and modifies schedules or plans as required.
• Prepares project reports for management and other stakeholders.
• Works with project personnel to advise on technical issues and to resolve problems.

Education and Experience Requirements:  BS degree in Engineering and related field and/or related experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Familiar with heavy lifting equipment capabilities.
• Proficient in Office Suite software:
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to collaborate with OEMs and contractors.
• Good negotiation abilities.

Work Environment:

• Work in conditions below 32 degrees or above 90 degrees on occasion.
• Lift up to 25 lbs.
