Associate Account Director

 

OBP is seeking an Associate Account Director to develop and execute strategic communications programs for agency clients. The job also includes communications program planning and management, client contact, and relationship building.

 

Responsibilities

  • Own and execute communications programs; develop strategy and oversee the implementation

  • Work with team to implement communications programs, coach individual team members to help manage/support priorities, responsibilities, deadlines, personal growth, and goals

  • Work collaboratively with subject matter experts, team members, and client partners

  • Develop and grow client relationships

  • Lead internal planning meetings and brainstorm sessions to deliver creative and innovative solutions for clients

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelors in Journalism, Communications, Advertising, or other applicable fields of study 

  • Ten years of relevant experience

  • High-level ability to think creatively and to plan strategically

  • Comfortable speaking about marketing technology with respect to goal setting

  • Experience with CMS, ESP/CRM, Marketing Automation, Data inputs

  • Strong experience in B2B + B2C marketing communications

  • Experience mentoring and coaching team members, embracing and promoting development and innovation surrounding the business and our people

  • Ability to identify trends and make strategic communications decisions

  • Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to hone key message points
