Job Role
We are seeking a Clinical Intake Specialist to assist with assessing, communicating, and planning for participants to attend the Saprea Retreat or Healing Webinar.
Qualifications
Educational/Professional Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
Experience Requirements

2-years-experience in community outreach or social work

Knowledge of trauma-informed care
-
Demonstrated leadership, relationship building and community building experience

Non-profit experience preferred

Spanish speaking preferred

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Computer proficient

Responsibilities
-
Actively engages in ongoing improvement of communication skills when engaging with program applicants; i.e., emails, phone calls, and text messages
-
Thoroughly completes application review with all pertinent information including clinical necessity, accurate logistical information, and assigning to the next correct stage in the intake process

Coordinates intake process. Maintains necessary completed documents for program applicants, professionally and proficiently addresses questions and concerns of applicants, assists with all aspects of an applicant getting to retreat (travel plans, rooming, and logistical, clinical, and medical needs)

Collaborates with program staff regarding needs of upcoming participants

Demonstrates active participation in problem solving, meetings, and day-to-day interaction with the program staff and applicants

Assists with testing, revising and implementation of procedures, policies, checklists, and workflows

Assist with non-clinical screening of applicants through scheduled phone calls or video conferences
